Bilateral relations between the United States and Bahrain have reached new heights, U.S. Ambassador Steven C Bondy said at a reception hosted by the U.S. Embassy last night at the Ritz Carlton Hotel to commemorate the 246th Independence Day of the United States of America.
“We are witnessing unprecedented government-to-government collaboration between the two nations. We thank the Bahraini government for the prompt action during the evacuation from Afghanistan last summer.

In 2021, two-way trade between the United States and Bahrain topped $2 billion and partnerships between the two countries’ private sectors are growing stronger, he said, adding that “diplomacy requires human connection”. The US Ambassador hailed the Kingdom’s leadership for the miraculous development the country has witnessed.
